Investing in Tomorrow’s Community Bank Leaders
South Dakota’s independent community banks are the heartbeat of our local towns, driving success and opportunity for generations. The ICBSD Scholarship was created to support students like you, future leaders who are ready to make an impact.
We’re awarding ten $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors or post-secondary students attending an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school in South Dakota for the 2026-2027 school year.
Are you Eligible?
You plan to attend a South Dakota college, university, or technical school.
Your parent, guardian, or grandparent works at a community bank—or you have worked at one yourself.
You’re ready to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year.
You can submit the required application, essay, and letter of recommendation by October 1, 2026.
How to apply:
Submit your completed application and supporting materials between August 1, 2026 — October 1, 2026.
Terms: By submitting your application, you agree to allow ICBSD to use your information and image for marketing purposes. Scholarship checks will be issued directly to the designated school in the recipient’s name.
