Serving South Dakota: Community Banks in Action
Every week, community bankers across South Dakota are volunteering, mentoring, supporting local events, teaching financial literacy, and helping community projects move forward.
Most of that work happens quietly, but it deserves to be seen.
That’s why we’re launching a new campaign:
Serving South Dakota: Community Bankers in Action
This campaign will highlight the community engagement already taking place at independent community banks across our state from volunteer hours and financial literacy programs to local fundraisers and community development projects.
How it works:
- Submit a community impact story anytime during the year using our quick, 2-minute form below.
- Submissions will be shared on social media and highlight participating banks.
- We’ll track the collective statewide impact, including volunteer hours, communities served, and other measurable contributions.
- Throughout the remainder of the year, we’ll showcase the difference South Dakota community banks are making through social media, our website, and in The Bottom Line.
Participation is completely voluntary and designed to be simple. Submissions are open now through December 31, 2026.
